Moorhouse’s first, experimental, work of interconnecting stories about ‘modern urban tribes’ (preface) and the problem of human relationships. Set in late 1960s Sydney at the tail end of the libertarian Push, Moorhouse’s ironies were clearly lost on the cover designer.
