Coetze’s first novel since his Nobel Prize in 2003 and move to Perth introduces the novelist and alter-ego Elizabeth Costello. It is structured around a series of lectures and lessons on philosophical themes which include Animal Rights, the problem of Evil, Eros and Realism. The novel was longlisted for the Booker and shortlisted for the Miles Franklin.

Condition: Dust Jacket is intact, no tears. Bumping to corners of boards and pages are tanned, but otherwise in very good condition.
