The Witch of Kings Cross
by Nevill Drury.

Kingsclear Books, Alexandria, NSW.
Revised edition, paperback.
144 pp.

Cover design by Misha Connery.

“I met Roie towards the end of her life in 1977, when she had already become a recluse … She was somewhat frail but still extremely mentally alert with expressive eyes and a hearty laugh. She even invited us to share a LSD trip with her but in the gloomy recesses of her basement flat we shuddered to think of the shadowy beings we might unleash.” (Introduction, p.v).

A moving biography of the art, life and magical practices of King Cross witch Rosaleen Norton.

Condition: Title page has initials of former owner. There is a small crease to bottom left hand back cover and pages are yellowing at edge, otherwise in very good condition.
