Description
Futility and other Animals: A Discontinuous Narrative
by Frank Moorhouse.
Arkon (A&R), Sydney, 1977.
Reprint, paperback.
Cover photograph by Ian Lines.
Moorhouse’s first, experimental, work of interconnecting stories about ‘modern urban tribes’ (preface) and the problem of human relationships. Set in late 1960s Sydney at the tail end of the libertarian Push, Moorhouse’s ironies were clearly lost on the cover designer.
Condition: Light scratches to cover, tanned pages and the odd mark.
